Born in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Andres traces his love of food to the dishes of his childhood

As a teenager he moved to the British Virgin Islands, where he developed a passion for cooking and began his career. Honing his skills while moving up the culinary ladder, Andres finally found his gastronomic home when he landed the job of head chef at The Point upon its opening in 2021.

He has a deep understanding of Caribbean cuisine, a keen appreciation for local produce and takes a sustainable approach. A blend of Caribbean, Mediterranean and Italian influences see him create contemporary menus that fuse influences from across the globe.

The chef believes in the power of food to bring people together and create unforgettable moments.
